Mission of Excellence


Two Seattle-area women answered God’s call to assist single  women and mothers get off the welfare rolls and help them become productive citizens,  and they are now administering a ministry far beyond what they could have imagined.

Proverbs 31:20 Ministries has provided women and children in need with basics assistance and shelter as they transition to independence since 2000. Currently serving families in King, Snohomish, and Pierce counties they also conduct individual and group Bible studies and provide life-skills training.
 
Their 2nd Annual “Evening of Excellence” dinner and silent auction will feature keynote speaker Star Parker.

A former welfare mom, Ms. Parker is now founder and president of the Coalition on Urban Renewal and Education (CURE), a non-profit organization with a mission to fight poverty and restore dignity through faith, freedom and responsibility.
